Nineteen years ago today this wonderful amazing baby girl was born to my husband and I. She came a'squallering into this world, and what lungs she did possess! After a few awkward months of dealing with colic... she turned into a delightful...little girl.
Time it passed and she grew and grew. The beauty the lives inside her heart blossomed full when she became a big sis, instead of being the little sis.And today, a prouder mother you will not find. I love you my darling Ram Sam Sam!
Happy birthday, Sam! OMGoodness, the photo of her in the baseball cap...so adorable! Congrats, mama. Where do the years go? :-)
ReplyDeleteThat is probably one of my most favorite pics of her! The years they fly, far faster than I would like.
Deletea'squallering? love it ... and the blog!
ReplyDeleteOh my Helena, if you'd ever been in our house when she was having a colic fit...a'squallering isn't even a strong enough word : )
DeleteHappy birthday, Sam! My how time flies.
ReplyDeleteNineteen years seems like such a large number of years, seems like it should feel like it took forever to get here...but it all happened in a wink ; )
DeleteHappy Birthday to your daughter! It's my hubby's bday today--the big 3-5, lol. I asked him if he was going to have a midlife crisis anytime soon & he said I was his midlife crisis, except I'm not shiny enough to drive around town. Ouch, hahaha--nothing like family to keep it real ;-)
ReplyDeleteGet yourself a nice Gold Lame' (Sorry, not sure how to make it say Lah, may) Suit, and rent a convertible...then have him take you out : ) Ah ha ha!
