Escape?
The pill bottle lies opened and emptied. She tries to focus, but the world spins. It’s better this way. No more lies. No more loneliness. No more tears. Regrets? None. Her vision fades to black, will anyone cry when she’s gone? Will her departure cause anyone pain? Will she be missed? Maybe. But she won’t know. The world is silent and she along with it; eyes wide open staring at the crack in the ceiling.
